How to change font size, speed, margins, colors, and the reading line

In the prompter, click the gear ("Settings (S)") to open the drawer:

  • "Base speed (WPM)" (50–150; the − and = keys change it by 5; voice commands like "Hey Fox, set WPM to 180" accept 80–400).
  • "Font size" (24–160 px), "Line spacing" (1.0–2.5), "Left margin" and "Right margin".
  • "Reading line position": where the current word sits, as % from the top. A blue "Reading line" guide shows while the drawer is open.
  • "Voice tracking strength": how hard the scroll works to keep your spoken word on the reading line. Raise it if you read faster than your WPM.
  • "Text color", "Background", and the "Mirror mode" checkbox (M) for glass teleprompter rigs.

The floating window keeps its own separate copy of these settings.

Two ways to a person. Both are read by Tyler, who built ScriptFox.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
