How to record a take

1. 1In the prompter, click "Record a take" (the circle in the bottom toolbar) or say "Hey Fox, start a recording". A timer shows while recording.
2. 2Read. Stop with the square button or "Hey Fox, stop recording" (the voice stop trims the command itself off the end).
3. 3The "Takes" panel opens. Each draft shows its length, "Voice" or "Pace", and for voice takes how much of the script you got through. Click "Confirm" to keep it, or the trash icon to discard.

Only confirmed takes are saved; unconfirmed drafts are deleted when you leave the prompter. Saved takes are listed under "Voice recordings" in the sidebar and flip the script's status to Recorded (voice takes need at least 75% of the script read). Takes record your mic audio only; the web prompter doesn't record video.
