How to add custom vocabulary

Custom vocabulary tells voice recognition which words to expect: names, jargon, acronyms, tickers, brand terms.

  1. 1Account menu → "Settings" → "Voice & vocabulary" → "Custom vocabulary".
  2. 2Type terms separated by commas or new lines. It auto-saves ("Saved" in the header).

ScriptFox also suggests words from your scripts (acronyms, capitalized names, terms with digits): the blue banner above the editor that says how many new words were found, and the "Suggestions from your scripts" panel on the vocabulary page. In the editor banner, "Add to vocabulary" adds them all; the small arrow beside the count lists the words, each with "+" to add just that one and × to dismiss it for good. The × at the end of the banner only hides it until the page is reloaded.

Terms apply to all your scripts on every mic start. Up to 100 terms (personal, team, and auto-detected together) are sent per session.

Still stuck?

Two ways to a person. Both are read by Tyler, who built ScriptFox.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
