How to record voice calibration

Calibration teaches ScriptFox how your voice maps to words, which sharpens tracking, especially for accents and tricky names.

  1. 1Account menu → "Settings" → "Voice & vocabulary" → "Voice setup" (the dashboard's "Re-calibrate voice →" button goes there too).
  2. 2Pick a length: "Short" (about 45 seconds), "Medium" (about 1.5 minutes), or "Long" (about 3 minutes). Longer gives it more to learn from.
  3. 3Click "Start calibration", allow the mic, and read each line at your normal pace. Words light up as they're recognized; "Skip this line" and "Next" are there if you need them.
  4. 4"Calibration complete" shows what it learned. Re-run it any time; once a month is a good habit, and the dashboard shows the last calibration date.

Calibration audio is streamed for transcription only; nothing is recorded or stored.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
