How to add captions or use the transcript in the Studio

Pro planWindows app

In the Studio, Inspector → "Video" tab → "Captions" → "Add captions". It transcribes your narration (a Pro feature) and puts one caption card per phrase on the Captions lane above the video. Pick a template (Classic, Karaoke, Highlight, Word Pop, Impact, Pill, Glow, Typewriter), colors, size, position (Bottom/Top), font, lines, and characters per line. Click a caption card to edit its text; the dot toggle shows or hides the burned-in captions.

"Export SRT" saves a subtitle file timed to your final cut so you can upload it to YouTube instead of burning captions in. The "Transcript" panel lets you click a line to jump there or ✂ a line to cut it from the video, and "Remove silences" trims long pauses in one click (no AI cost). Captions follow your cuts automatically.

Two ways to a person. Both are read by Tyler, who built ScriptFox.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
