Upload a transcript for precise analytics

ScriptFox maps your retention curve to your script in one of two ways:

  • Estimated from your recording: built from a Voice-mode read. Works automatically, but it drifts if you edited the video.
  • Precise (recommended): built from your published video's transcript, so it lines up exactly with the published timeline.

On the script's Analytics view, use the transcript bar near the top: "Upload transcript" for an .srt, .vtt, .sbv, or .txt file, or "paste" for the copied "Show transcript" text. It aligns automatically and the analytics get a green "Precise" badge; "Replace" or "Remove" any time. "That transcript didn't line up with this script" means it's the transcript for a different video.

Two ways to a person. Both are read by Tyler, who built ScriptFox.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
