Why does ScriptFox ask for my niche?

You pick the niche that fits your channel during setup. ScriptFox uses it to compare your videos against other creators in the same space, so your insights are measured against the right benchmark.

What's contributed is anonymized: no script text, titles, video IDs, or personal info, only numbers like average hook length. Change your niche or turn off "Include me in benchmarks" any time in Settings → "Analytics & benchmarks".
