How to connect YouTube

Connecting your channel lets ScriptFox pull real analytics (views, watch time, retention, subscribers gained) for videos you link to scripts. Access is read-only, through Google; no API keys.

  1. 1Account menu → "Settings". Make sure "Publishing" → "I publish my videos to YouTube" is on (it is by default).
  2. 2In the "YouTube" section click "Connect YouTube", sign in with the Google account that owns the channel, and allow access.
  3. 3You'll come back to Settings with "YouTube channel connected." and your channel name.

It connects the account's primary channel. To disconnect: the "Disconnect" button in the same section (cached video stats are removed).
