How to link a YouTube video to a script

On the dashboard, open the script's three-dot menu ("Script options") → "Link YouTube video…", paste the watch, youtu.be, Shorts, or embed link, and click "Link video". Or paste the link in the editor's field under the title ("Add a YouTube link to mark this published…").

Linking marks the script Published, fetches the video's stats (owner analytics like retention take YouTube 24–48 hours after publish), and adds a metric strip to the script's row; click it for the mini dashboard, and use "Customize card metrics…" to choose up to 4 metrics to show. "Edit YouTube link…" / "Remove link" change it later. If your channel isn't connected yet, the menu item sends you to connect first. These items are hidden when Settings → "I publish my videos to YouTube" is off.

Two ways to a person. Both are read by Tyler, who built ScriptFox.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
