What the script statuses mean (Drafting, Ready, Recorded, Published)

Statuses are set automatically from what you've done with the script:

  • Drafting: it has content.
  • Ready: you've opened it in the prompter at least once.
  • Recorded: it has a saved take. A Pace-mode take counts once confirmed; a Voice-mode take counts when voice tracking reached at least 75% of the script.
  • Published: a YouTube video is linked to it.

To set one by hand, click the status pill on the dashboard ("Set status") and pick one; choose "Auto · from activity" to go back to automatic. Linking or removing a YouTube video clears a manual pick. Filter the dashboard with the chips "All", "Drafting", "Ready", "Recorded", "Published".

Still stuck?

Two ways to a person. Both are read by Tyler, who built ScriptFox.

Fox is the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page once you are signed in. It answers from these same pages and hands you to a person when it can't.
