Mobile app problems: permissions, sign-in, tracking stops

  • "Camera & microphone needed": tap "Open Settings" and allow Camera and Microphone for ScriptFox (Rig mode needs only the microphone).
  • Email/password sign-in fails: accounts created with Apple or Google have no password, and accounts that need an email code or two-factor can't finish on the phone; use "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Google". If sign-in hangs on Wi-Fi but works on cellular, that network is filtering clerk.getscriptfox.com.
  • "Lost the transcription connection.": check your connection and tap the mic button again.
  • Recordings stutter: set Video quality to 720p in the Overlay sheet.
  • Recordings missing from the tab: allow gallery access, or the take was deleted from the gallery's "ScriptFox" album.
